Hosting
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the requested URL, time, browser user agent and referrer in short-lived server logs. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, working website). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you e-mail me, I use your message and address only to reply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. I delete correspondence when it’s no longer needed.
Links to other sites
Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram and others take you to those services, whose own privacy policies apply. Nothing is loaded from them until you click.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
